Irrigation EngineerJob Location : UAEResponsibilities :?Establish and manage field experiments, calculate crop water requirements, and maintain the main irrigation infrastructure system?Conduct field measurements of soil salinity, soil sampling, groundwater table depths, irrigation measurements etc.?Data collection and analysis of irrigation and salinity water * Work with relevant computer packages to prepare shop drawings, etc.?Support in conducting field surveys?Manage, maintain and oversee irrigation automatic systems like SCADA system, and sensors for soil, water and weather.?Assist the principle investigator in other related workQualifications and Experience Essential :?MSc in Agricultural Engineering/agronomy/water management or relevant field?2-3 years field experience in a reputed organization.?2-3 years of field experience in design and supervising irrigation networks and irrigation technologies (drip/sprinkler/surface), hydroponic, etc?Relevant skills in computer packages to prepare shop drawings, etc.?Fluency in written and spoken English?Good knowledge of GIS/RS and monitoring
