Clinical System Specialist - Power ChartJob Location : DubaiIn summary, the post holder will:?Work to resolve problems quickly and efficiently in collaboration with all clinical staff while utilizing the change management process.?Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Systems, CIO, other Heads of Departments and Staff to coordinate and facilitate workflow and process improvements in relation to IT systems in order to enhance the effectiveness of Clinical Systems.?Be responsible for working within IT and with external parties during implementations (requirements gathering, configuration, testing and transitioning) and system upgrades of Clinical systems.?Be responsible for providing initial setup and support to new physician medical staff, residents, visiting and midlevel providers, as well as continuing education/training for physician staff and super-users.?During the Project Implementation phase, the post holder/s will be responsible for assisting in data collections, current and future state reviews and planning, aligning appropriate work streams within the team and ensuring performance management structures are in place to deliver sustained and measured improvements in Data Quality essential for performance monitoring and clinical safety.Accountabilities:?To be the ICT Clinical Systems Specialist responsible for centrally administering the KCH Cerner EMR & other Clinical systems, and providing strategic advice to Senior ICT Management as and when required;?Lead the delivery of testing for complex projects/product upgrades including the management of constantly changing demands and pressures that may have an impact on success factors and acceptance by the Clinic/Hospital;?To act as an ICT Specialist Product Consultant in Clinical Systems for future upgrades & provide appropriate support documentation to the appropriate teams and stakeholders;?To regularly research and review/audit Clinical Systems Quality across the group and make written recommendations for service improvement to the ICT Senior Management Team;?Provide consultancy services within the team for product development /implementation of requirements and act as Lead Trainer/Technical Advisor to support the Trainers;?To investigate highly complex technical issues within the Clinical Systems, produce detailed outcome reports / resolutions where necessary, and provide guidance to the team on potential impact/s to KCH;?The post holder will work closely with other members of the Vendors, ICT, Clinical and Construction teams to ensure there is a consistent approach in meeting the objectives of KCH ? from an ICT and wider KCH stand-point;Qualification:?Educated to Degree level in a relevant IT discipline or substantial Clinical systems experience.?Prince 2 Foundation or equivalent proven project methodology.?MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.?Masters Degree or equivalent Postgraduate qualification
