Purchasing AssistantAn aggressively growing food production and distribution company is looking for awell-organized, energetic purchasing assistant to help the purchaser carry out day-to-day tasks and who can make cost-effective purchases and maintain a fully stocked inventory.RESPONSIBILITIES :?Researching market trends & potential vendors?Maintaining relationships with both vendors and clients?Inspecting and monitoring the inventory?Tracking deliveries and updating order records?Updating relevant spreadsheets and documents.?Prepare cost analyses?Maintain updated records of invoices and contractsSKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:?Experience as a Purchasing Assistant in a Food Company.?Excellent administrative and communication skills.?Hands-on experience with purchasing software & advance knowledge of MS Excel?Good understanding of supply chain procedures?An eye for spotting market trends.
