More than 284,000 committed and highly motivated employees in 478 locations in 45 countries make us one of the most successful international automotive suppliers.To strengthen our team, we are looking for a[[Project Launch & Production Preparation Supervisor ]].*Team Management:* Training, coaching and motivation of his Team members* Define the target agreement of his team and ensure a periodic evaluation of the results* Ensure compliance with internal regulations* Ensure compliance with Internal and YAZAKI procedures by all departmental staff* Develop technical and personal skills of his Team according to the priorities of the Department / Plant*Project Management & New Project Launch:* Ensure the follow up of new projects according to GPMS tools (Global Project Management System)* Ensure the preparation, acheivement and respect of the Project Master Plan for new projects and new technical changes with zero red tasks and zero additional costs* Project Risk analysis and Preparation of Contingency Plans* Management of Prototypes and Preserial phase* Involve the different departments (Technical, Production, Quality, NYS ...) in the Design Review* Manage multidisciplinary teams to achieve project targets* Prepare and share, with the project team, the Lessons learned of the different project phases*Production Preparation:* Define the Manufacturing Process (Flowcharts) and launch PFMEA updates for new projects* Management of releases/distribution of customer and YAZAKI Drawings* Prepare the Hiring Plan and the list of required equipment P1, P2, P3 and launch purchasing orders according to standards* Planning and monitoring of the implementation and validation of new equipment* Support the release of new ECRs and new process to facilitate the launch of serial production* Follow up of MPSO process audit (ensure the closure of action plans)*Leadership:* Focus on results: - Defines clear priorities for the overall tasks of his subordinate team - Defines measurable goals for his subordinate team - Regular follow up of achievement of goals and tasks - Training, coaching, motivation and regular assessment of his subordinate team* Decision making: - Calculate costs, benefits, risks, opportunities - Make appropriate decisions in a timely manner - Act quickly and decisively in a difficult situations - Identify risks in a timely manner - Ensure regular reporting of lessons learned* Ability to motivate: - Give appropriate feedback on performance and behaviour - Show appreciation of employees contribution - Broadens the employees scope of tasks and responsibilities*Quality:* Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (ISO TS 16949), the YEL / YAP-T procedures, the hygiene and safety rules (ISO14001 & 18001) and 5S principles* Contribute to the improvement of process, quality and production costs* Contribute to the resolution of internal problems and the analysis of internal and external claimsAt Yazaki, we arecommitted to providing equal employment opportunities for everyone regardless of race, color, religion, sex, age, marital status, national origin, disability, handicap, veteran status, or other legally protected status or characteristic.
