The Purpose of the Position is to support IRCS, develop the IRCS 2019-22, develop, 2020 Plan and Budget, and organize a Governance Training.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelopment of IRCS 2019-22 Strategic planTo work with IRCS management and Technical team to develop the 5 year Strategic Plan aims to strengthen the Societies capabilities to respond to the current challenges as well as potential future risks.The strategic plan process will include review of the 2014-2018 Strategic plan in order to have a full understanding of the success and challenges. The intervention proposed will be carefully designed and tested to ensure the intended outcome will be delivered.Each strategy will ensure a four elements developmental approach is integrated in the design, this includes upgrade people skills, establish systems and procedures, update policies and tools.Develop of IRCS 2020 Plan and budgetWork with the Iraqi Red Crescent, OD team, to develop the 2020 plan and budget based on the 2019-20 strategic planLaunch of the IRCS 2019-22 and Partnership Meeting 2019Together with IRCS team organize a partnership meeting to present the Societies Strategic plan 2019/22 and 2020 plans and budget4.IRCS HQs and Branch ScorecardWork with the Iraqi Red Crescent, OD team to develop a IRCS National Scorecard based on indicators (OCAC, MENA, APC Conference declarations), that will highlights various performance achievements and gaps.Work with the Iraqi Red Crescent, OD team to develop a Scorecard based on indicators of Well-Functioning Branches, that will highlight and benchmark current status and gaps of 18 IRCS branches.Quality Control (QC)Work with IRCS OD Team to develop Quality Control (QC) systems that will ensure routine measure of Program Implementation in line with the 2019/2023 strategic plan. The QC system will be designed to:Provide routine and consistent checks to ensure data integrity, correctness, and completeness;Identify and address errors and omissions;Document and archive inventory material and record all implementation of the Strategic Plan activities.Duties applicable to all staff and consultants1. Actively work towards the achievement of the IFRC s goals2. Abide by and work in accordance with the Red Cross and Red Crescent principles3. Perform any other work-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the line manager
