JOB DESCRIPTIONYellow Door Energy is looking for a Project Civil Engineer to join our team and support the company s strategic growth. The ideal candidate will be excited about bringing clean energy solutions to businesses in the Middle East, South Asia and Africa. She/he will report to the VP Project Management and will work closely with all teams across the organization.The Project Civil Engineer will be responsible for managing the planning and execution of civil work within Yellow Door Energy projects. The Project Civil Engineer will provide support to YDE Engineering and BD teams, and project site teams in the execution of projects in support of the company s strategic project plan. The Project Civil Engineer will manage project deliverable requirements and contractor relations, in addition to establish and monitor metrics (ex: HSE), project schedules, and cost performance of the project in accordance with company systems and practices.The Project Civil Engineer will have therefore the following main functions:1. Project Management2. Review and approval of civil work3. Support to teams4. ReportingWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORProvide civil & mechanical quality plans, inspection test procedures, and on-site inspections for civil and mechanical contractors.Monitor civil and mechanical construction progress across project schedule.Maintain HSE Regulations and commitment from Civil & System Integrator on project sites.Provide guidance and supervision to site conducted civil works.Evaluate potential subcontractors and assist in project financial controllingReview and approve civil material submittals.Review and approve civil design shop drawing.Review executing civil works quantities and quality of worksAssist the Engineering team on Civil Designs and structural calculations.Assist in providing needed technical and civil design solutions for planned projectsAssist on project permitting where neededProvide needed support to business development teamProvide Civil Works Punch lists for completed projects.Provide regular construction reports for site progressProvide Health, Safety and Environment MetricsAbility to transport in between remote site within Jordan.YOUBachelor s Degree in civil engineering from Jordanian UniversityMinimum 5 years of experienceExcellent command of English and Arabic languagesPrevious experience in PV Power Plant Projects Design and Consultation ServicesPrevious experience in PV Power Plant Projects Execution and exposure on mechanical installationPrevious experience with AutoCAD, Prokon, Applicable Structural Design SoftwarePrevious experience with HSE RegulationsMember of Jordan Engineering AssociationBe organized, available and with a high sense of responsibilityAbility to prioritize and handle numerous competing demands in a high-volume, fast-paced working environmentBe self-motivated, and able to manage stress and work under pressureBe resilient and proactiveShall have very good teamwork skillsWEProvide a competitive compensation and benefits package, challenging projects, fun working environment with great colleaguesHave a passion for improving the environment and helping businesses grow in a sustainable mannerWork hard because we believe in what we re doingBelieve in the power of positive energy, self-awareness, intellectual honesty & empathyEnjoy growth phase businesses where we can have a strong impact on its direction
