Job Description

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOBTo be responsible for overseeing the strategic and daily direction of Wireline sales, including implementation ofnew technology.

  • Responsible for all wireline operations in both workshop and the field.
  • Plan & prepare for well site operations.
  • Completes all tasks assigned by Operations Manager and reports back as required.
  • Supervises the operation of Wireline service units to maintain high standards.
  • Supervises the applied procedures for operation of Wireline equipment / tools / techniques to ensure quality and cost-effective service is provided to each customer.
  • Supervises and leads crew staff.
  • Interprets job results for customer personnel and recommends services as per customer needs.
  • Maintains knowledge of the latest technological changes and operating procedures pertaining to company equipment, tools, and practices to ensure maximum operating efficiency.
  • Promptly and accurately submits all required reports and data.
  • Maintains assigned equipment and facilities in a neat, workable condition.
  • Contact customer representatives as requested to increase participation in available market.
  • Participates in sales presentations.
  • Receives assigned job and fill all the necessary forms prior to and after the job ends.
  • Runs logging services and ensure logs are presented correctly up to standards.
  • Supervises in rig up and rig down activities.
  • Drives from and back to the base.
  • Troubleshoots and maintains tools, trucks, and equipment.
  • Provides technical assistance to field operators on location to ensure operations are done as scheduled.
  • Open and close permits to work before and after each job.
  • Perform any other task assigned by the Lab, Quality, or management.
  • Perform Tool maintenance and calibration.
