Job Description

As such we are looking for a Machinist to join our team.As a Machinist your duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Performing all types of day to day machining jobs which involve operating various types of machines i.e. CNC operated lathe m/c, milling m/c, grinding m/c and drilling m/c etc.
  • Performing all types of machining jobs and helping mechanical technician in assembling jobs, making sure that the dimensions of machined parts are as per drawings.
  • Responsible for spares planning, maintenance, repairs, overhauls of all work shop equipment like Lathe m/c, milling m/c, grinding m/c and drilling m/c.
  • Supporting the mechanical technician in the execution of corrective action (during break downs and planned maintenance down days) to bring back the equipment to normal working condition.
  • Proper maintenance of equipment / facilities of the workshop and carrying out repair works and keeping spares ready.
  • Responsible to have proper housekeeping, cleaning of equipment, tools, work areas. Cleaning of equipment areas after any machining / servicing jobs.
