Job Description

On behalf of our client, who is into the Oil & Gas industry,˙we are looking for an experienced and results-driven Logistics Operation Manager specializing in heavy equipment for the Oil & Gas division.˙The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire logistics process, ensuring the seamless movement of heavy equipment, and optimizing operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to enhance efficiency in heavy equipment transportation, storage, and distribution within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Manage and lead a team of logistics professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics service providers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance requirements related to the transportation of heavy equipment, ensuring adherence at all times.
  • Oversee inventory control processes, including tracking, reporting, and optimizing stock levels for heavy equipment.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to guarantee the secure movement and handling of heavy equipment in line with industry standards.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency enhancement within the logistics function.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers and procurement teams, to ensure seamless coordination of logistics activities.
