i)Inspection Engineer shall be capable to handle basic functions including,but not limited to the following:-Inspects fired/unfired pressure equipment in Refinery, including steam rising plant, oil heaters, columns, vessels, heat exchangers, piping systems and storage tanks.Calculates permissible working pressure of equipment and reports findings.Prepares inspection work-lists for plant turnarounds and coordinates these functions with Engineering Maintenance, Operations and Consultant?s representatives.Inspects critical equipment at suppliers? works as directed.Conversant with nondestructive testing methods.Conversant with latest API, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, TEMA, NACE codes / standards.Experience in RBI methodology is preferred.ii)Inspection Engineer served for KNPC more than 10 years may be considered as Inspection Engineer (A) based on performance.iii)Inspection Engineer served for KNPC between 05-10 years may be considered as Inspection Engineer (B) based on performance.iv)Inspection Engineer served for KNPC less than 05 years shall be considered as Inspection Engineer (C).
