Understand the executives overall plan for the company and sets specific goals for production department to fit in with the plan.Delegate responsibilities and gives clear, consistent directives to the middle managers. Organizes the department with clear role for every employee.Provide visible leadership and direction to the different sections within the production department of KDD (Mixing, Pre-Processing, UHT, Long shelf-life, and Short shelf-life).Understands and can demonstrate Lean principles and methodologies and direct the section to sustain and continuously improve all the relevant processes.Direct the different department heads within production to ensure that the customer orders are produced at the lowest possible cost to meet the customer requirements while maintaining KDD?s established quality standards.Analyze the plant operations to ensure that the facility maintains a leadership position in the industry and that the operation is rationalized either by internal activities or by taking advantage of new processes and technologies that become available.Develops annual production budget in accordance with the forecasted sales volume and engineering changes required.Develop and manage implementation of production capital budget.Responsible for all corporate, customer and government audit to ensure compliance for the Department.
