Job Description

The primary objective of the counter salesman is to to provide exceptional customer service, drive sales, and ensure smooth showroom operations by efficiently handling counter sales, order processing, and inventory management. The role aims to enhance customer satisfaction, support business growth, and maintain showroom standards.Job Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction & Sales
  • Engage with walk-in customers, understand their requirements, and provide tailored product solutions.
  • Handle counter sales, process invoices, and manage cash transactions with accuracy.
  • Prepare quotations for cash customers and process sales orders for direct purchases.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and after-sales service requests promptly.
  • Order Processing & Inventory Management
  • Accurately enter all orders into the ERP system for smooth processing and tracking.
  • Coordinate with central stores to ensure stock availability and timely deliveries.
  • Conduct regular stock counting and maintain accurate inventory records.
Administrative & CRM Duties
  • Manage invoices, stock records, cash transactions, and product labeling.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports and adherence to company reporting deadlines.
  • Maintain detailed records of visiting customers and their preferences.
  • Fulfill CRM system requirements and share leads of walk-in customers with the sales team on a weekly basis.
  • Showroom Maintenance & Merchandising
  • Ensure proper merchandising of products as per showroom supervisor instructions.
  • Maintain showroom cleanliness and organization to enhance the customer experience.
