Job Description

Our client is a US pipe fabrication company based in Abu Dhabi, the fastest-growing turn-key industrial pipe fabrication organization in the world is seeking to hire a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer (Pipe Fabrication) to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. As a QA engineer, youll be creating tests that identify issues with software before a product launch. These tests entail other tasks such as developing and running new tests and reporting their results to stakeholders, who will collaborate to fix program bugs or problems:Responsibilities

  • Youll be responsible of developing and execute exploratory, automated tests and resolve system malfunctions to ensure product quality.
  • Monitor all stages of software development to identify to meet quality standards.
  • Address and discuss issues and proposed solutions with superiors.
  • Document quality assurance activities and create audit reports.
  • Make recommendations for improvement.
  • Review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)
RequirementsRequirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of pipe fabrication shop experience.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certificate is a MUST.
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Quality Assurance Specialist
  • Proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role.
  • Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent data collection and analysis skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
