Job Description

Position: Head of HR Business Partnering - BankingLocation: Abu Dhabi, UAE.About the Role:We are partnering with a growing, sustainability focussed Middle Eastern bank, who are head-quartered in the United Arab Emirates, to find a Head of HRBP / Divisional HR Director.The Head of HR Business Partnering position is a pivotal leadership role within their Human Resources Group. This position is responsible for directing and leading the HR Business Partnering function, aligning it with the overall People strategy of the business.The role will contribute to formulating, implementing, and delivering the Groups people strategy in line with the organizational vision, mission, values, and priorities and translate the people strategy into short, medium, and long-term business plansKey Responsibilities include:

  • Forging strong relationships with business leaders to address evolving talent needs aligned with changing business requirements.
  • Provide strategic solutions addressing talent, organizational, and cultural challenges to facilitate business strategy execution.
  • Manage functional objectives through effective leadership, performance management, and team motivation.
  • Lead talent development initiatives to ensure talent availability for business requirements.
  • Serve as a role model, driving adherence to organizational values and ethics to establish a value-driven culture within the Group.
  • Lead change management efforts, continuously improving functional systems, processes, and practices in line with global standards and business environment changes.
Desired Skills and Experience* 12 years of relevant HR experience, including 5 years within an HR leadership role.* Ideally a background within banking or other large matrixed organisation* Bachelors degree in HR or a related discipline.* Preferred: Masters degree in business administration, or a related field.* Preferred: Professional Certification in CIPD or a related discipline.Suitable candidates already based in the region, or who are looking to re-locate will be considered.
