Job Description

An exciting new role had come up from one of the well-known private investment and asset management companies in Abu Dhabi. They are currently looking for an Investment Analyst.The Investment Analyst will be responsible for conducting financial analysis and research to support investment decisions. The successful candidate will use their financial and analytical skills to evaluate potential investment opportunities, monitor current investments, and develop investment strategies to maximize returns.Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial analysis and research to evaluate potential investment opportunities
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments to inform investment decisions
  • Develop and maintain financial models to assess investment performance and risk
  • Prepare investment reports and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in due diligence and deal structuring for potential investments
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of current investments and provide recommendations for modifications or divestitures
  • Collaborate with other members of the investment team to develop and execute investment strategies
  • Maintain knowledge of financial markets, industry trends, and regulatory requirements
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
  • BS in Finance, Business Management, or Accounting.
  • Preferably CFA or similar accreditation.
  • Experience of 3-5 years of working as an Investment Analyst or similar role.
  • Knowledge of Project Management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with market information systems and technical systems like Capital IQ, Factset or Bloomberg.
  • An analytical mind with a keen sense for mathematical patterns and correlations.
  • Able to work with little or no supervision
  • Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Arabic would be a plus.
