Job Description

Compliance:

  • 1- Create and implement an effective compliance program to apply uniformly in the head office and correspondingly across the group?s diverse companies.
  • 2. Ensure that the compliance program effectively prevents and/or detects a violation of law, regulations, organization policies, or the code of conduct
  • 3. Regularly review the compliance program and recommend appropriate revisions and modifications, including advising leadership and the board of directors of potential compliance risk areas
  • 4. Developing awareness and educational programs for all employees, agents, contractors, or others working with the organization over the compliance function, its role, and importance in a corporate entity.
  • 5. Ensure that the internal controls are capable of preventing and detecting significant instances or patterns of illegal, unethical, or improper conduct by employees, agents, contractors, or others working with the organization
  • 6. Develop, coordinate, and/or oversee internal and external audit procedures for the purpose of monitoring and detecting any misconduct or noncompliance; if any misconduct or noncompliance is detected, recommend a solution and follow up to ensure that the non-compliance is resolved
  • 7. Oversee the implementation of all policies and procedures in Nesma Group Company
  • 8. Monitor the vendor registration process in the company and ensure the KYC procedures are implemented and effective
  • 9. Coordinate, conduct or/ and oversee investigations of matters that merit investigation under the compliance program.
  • 10. Manage and collaborate closely with the team of Compliance specialists appointed across the group and assist in the development of policies and procedures across the organization and assist Nesma group of companies in complying with unified standards for the group.

  • Business Ethics:
  • 1. Continuously work to implement the business ethics policy, code of conduct and associated policies such as anti-money laundering and anti-harassment across Nesma group of companies.
  • 2. Provide training to the employees in accordance with the Head Office direction, stated culture/standards and requirements.
