Job Description

SummaryAs a Digital Media Programmer, your main task is to develop, programme and code digital media assets comprising graphics (2D & 3D), animation (2D & 3D), audio and videos based from approved concepts and storyboards for integration into the Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality applications/contents, electronic games or related mobile applications. In addition, you will be required to deliver related training in courses, workshops, seminars and conferences to clients and trainees.Reporting StructureYou will report to the Lead DeveloperDetailed

  1. Programme the AR/VR contents, electric games and mobile applications based on the approved design document / the storyboard
  2. Develop and improve prototype
  3. Recommends alternative design approaches when initial approaches are not feasible or affordable.
  4. Test and debugs the programme.
  5. Develops and maintains technical interface between software tools to ensure development productivity.
  6. Provide technical consulting, advice and problem for the hardware and software for displaying and implementing the AR/VR contents, electric games and mobile applications.
  7. Evaluates technical requirements of the authoring and presentation systems from a development and implementation perspective
  8. Installs and maintains AR/VR and other related digital media applications
  9. Develops necessary security, backup and control of electronic content applications
  10. Assist in the maintenance of company technology assets
  11. Use technical software packages, such as Unreal, Unity, Java and other open-source applications
  12. Work to production deadlines and meeting clients commercial requirements;
  13. Work in creative teams as part of a broader production network, which might include liaising with graphic designers, animators, instructional designers, or marketing specialists;
  14. Deal with diverse business cultures, delivering presentations and seeking project or concept approval.
  15. Conduct digital media application development courses for the clients and trainees where required.
