Utility Technicianurgently required for Dairy company Plant at Muscat OmanDesignation:Utility TechnicianBenefit: Salary:300 OMRFree accommodationYearly ticket30 Days annual leaveOther facility will be as per work requirement and gradeJob Purpose:This position is responsible for overall operation and maintenance of the Utility section of the dairy plant.Utilities include industrial boilers, air compressors, water treatment plants, Wastewater treatment plant,Reverse Osmosis plant, Ammonia refrigeration plant, HVAC systems, Cooling systems etc?3. Main Tasks & Accountabilities:Task Description Key Result Areas Utility plants operation and maintenance? Ensure the utility plant (industrial boilers, air compressors, water treatment plants, Wastewater treatment plant, Reverse Osmosis plant, Ammonia refrigeration plant, HVAC systems, Cooling systems etc?) are operated as per set SOPs, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance are carried out as per OEM recommendations/internal schedule? Ensure, required utilities are continuously fed to the process, filling and plastic plants.? Water, electricity and fuel are consumed within the set KPIs HACCP/other compliances? Ensure hygiene standards are maintained throughout the process, filling, packaging areas including disposal of engineering waste as per prescribed guidelines.? Ensure that all local environmental requirements are duly adhered to? Knowledge of and adherence to regional council compliance requirements.? Ensure no breaches of HACCP/ISO/environmental requirements Health and Safety? Understand and ensure meeting the obligations of health and safetyrequirements of employment legislation.? Comply with health and safety requirements of employment legislation? Comply with health and safety policies and procedures7.1: Education Level ?Minimum RequirementDiploma/Industrial training certificate in Refrigeration/Boiler/Mechanical with minimum 5 years of experience in handling operation and maintenance activities in utility plant in a large food process/dairy process/packaging industry7.2: Professional Qualifications? Technical training from Johnson Controls/GEA for refrigeration systems, industrial boilers, air compressors, water treatment plants, Reverse Osmosis plant, Waste water treatment plant etc..7.3: Work Experience ? Overall minimum experience of 5 years or more in operating/maintaining Ammonia refrigeration plant, Boilers, Air compressors, Chillers and AHUs? Experience in handling utility plant in a large dairy/food processing plant Mazoon Dairy Company SAOC.7.4: Job Specific Skills? 5 to 8 years of strong experience in handling large ammonia plant in a processing industry, dairy plant preferred? Handled Utilities like Air compressors, Boilers, Chilled water distribution.? Hands on experience in carrying out operation and maintenance of Ammonia compressors, Boilers, Air compressors, Pumps and AHUs? GCC experience is preferred.7.5 Generic Skills? Must be alert, strive for accuracy, and have the ability to exercise independent thinking and judgment, be a self- motivator, and attention to detail.?
