Job Purpose:The main purpose of this position is to plan the maintenance of the farm equipment, workshop equipment.Ensure the stock and inventories of important spare parts. The position is also responsible for operational functionality of workshop and maintenance teams.3. Main Tasks & Accountabilities:Task Description Maintenance Plan:? Ensuring the maintenance schedule of all the equipment.? Ensure preventive maintenance is followed as per the SOP and protocols.? Troubleshoot the breakdowns and ensure machines are in running condition.? Assist Milking parlor lead in maintaining the milking parlor.? Ensure all earth moving equipment and workshop equipment are properly maintained and updated.? Plans and ensures maintenance of the cooling system to the utmost standards.? Schedule the maintenance roasters and duty roasters of his team.? Ensure availability of technical staff during breakdowns.? Liaison with the local workshops and repair shops for third party maintenance.Spare part Management:? Stock the essential spare parts for preventive maintenance and breakdowns.? Allocate the spare parts to the technicians and maintain records.? Reports the consumption to the warehouse and cost accountants.HACCP/other compliances:? Ensure hygiene standards are maintained through the farm especially workshopEducation Level ? Minimum Requirement:? Degree in mechanical engineering or vocational training certification.Professional Qualifications :? Must have vocational training certification? Overall experience of 6 years in supervision of Farm machinery.? Strong understanding of the Middle East cultureJob Specific Skills :? Proven experience in handling large set up of the maintenance in a Dairy farm with milking parlors? Prior experience in Farm equipment, cooling system, Pumps,Motors and piping system.? Handled earth moving equipment like Tractor, Loaders and trucks and feeding equipment.? Have sound knowledge in welding and fabrication and installation of equipment? Basic skill for operating equipment and carrying out daily tasks? Excellent written and verbal communication.? Advantage to have GCC experience and handle multicultural teams.Generic Skills? Must be alert, strive for accuracy, and have ability to exercise? Independent thinking and judgment, be a self- motivator, and attention to detail.?
