Job Description

Mining Project Supervisor - Dubai/Sub Saharan AfricaMajor responsibilities

  • Mining Project supervisor shall coordinate and supervise all activities related to mining and quarrying in underground and surface mines/quarries(minerals & gold).
  • Potential incumbent shall oversee the workers schedules, processes and organize the day to day operations and communicate the principal.
Note: The role shall be based in Dubai/UAE with frequent traveling required to Sub-Saharan African geographies where the mines are locatedScope
  • Supervise and coordinate with third party contractors and personnel
  • To be an active agent in communicating and supervision during the entire project execution.
  • Establish work methods to meet deadlines and coordinate work with all departments triangulating the company standards and SOPs
  • To keep a track record on material management and supplies in par with the contractor requirements
  • Resolve work problems and recommend actions to increase productivity.
  • Manage staff if and when required and ensure adequate training (eg : site, HSE, etc)
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.
  • Thorough understanding of managing daily reports and analytical data to the management as and when required
  • Candidates with bachelors degree or engineering are welcome. Mining or geologist qualifications are highly recommended
Salary upto: AED 9,000/- + allowances + insurance
