? coordinate plant operations in such a way that work is carried out to the required standard with minimum risk to staff, machine and materials, and ensure compliance to safety and environmental standards at all times.? Coordinate with all other departments all activities that are related to plant operations during the shift and comply with safety rules and regulations? Follow preset operational schedules to fulfil the panned availability production targets safely and efficiently? Coordinate all activities or changes in plant status with the operations manager as necessary? Monitor the overall status of the plant and summarize activities in the daily log. Keep up to date the daily plant status reports, and relay all activities that occur during the shift? Identify and provide suggestions where plant improvements and modifications can improve the plant safe and effective operation and plant efficiency? Ensure problems and issues are clearly identified and monitored with operational controls implemented to ensure safe plant conditions.
