Job Description

Role Purpose:?Plan, coordinate, supervise, technical review of Hydraulic Study process including water networks study and zoning as well as hydraulic modeling of the water network.Monitor the progress over time schedule and assure completion of related works.?ResponsibilitiesHydraulic Studies:

  • Study & analyze water networks structure.
  • Water network zoning & creation of hydraulic models.
  • Plan and consult zero pressure tests and, critical points.
  • Verification of operational flow and pressure at critical points.
  • Preparing and resenting hydraulic simulation models.
  • Supervise and review the deliverables of hydraulic studies.
  • Prepare and submit hydraulic modeling reports to the end users.
  • Prepare and submit network zoning submittals to the end user.
  • Discuss and negotiate technical deliverables with consultants and end users.
  • Validation of GIS deliverables based on zero pressure tests.
  • Assisting for integration between GIS and SCADA / WMS with bidirectional data validation and updates.
Project Management:
  • Schedule hydraulic study activities in steps and duration.?
  • Technical review contracts and agreements with subconsultants.
  • Monitor progress against the project schedule.
  • Plan, organize, and direct activities related to hydraulic studies.
  • Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
Education and Certification?
  • Bachelor?s degree of Civil Engineering/Hydraulics or equivalent.
  • Experience 2-6 years .
