Job Description

JOB DETAILSJob Title:WelderReporting to:Workshop SupervisorSubordinates:-Minimum Education:Secondary / Welding CertificateAge Requirement:25 -50 years oldYears of Experience:3Certifications / Licenses:-JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Competent to pass and qualify the welding test as per MPSI procedures.
  • Knowledged in highest standard of welding process to avoid weld defects and must be experienced in determining the kind of welding method, technique, equipment and tools needed to do a job
  • Knowledge in identifying the proper welding electrode or flux that is compatible with the material specification of the joint as per company procedures
  • Able to detect and determine the defective materials
  • Experienced in performing the routine maintenance on equipment and able to determine the kind of maintenance needed.
  • Must have fundamental understanding on HSEQ and safe welding
  • Must have technical education on Welding, Gas, Stick, MIG & TIG welding process upto 4G
  • Able to read drawings and must have 3G Certification SMAW Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminium
SKILLS AND COMPETENCYQualified candidates should possess the following skills and competencies:
  • Must be proficient in the English language
  • Must have Intermediate Computer Skills
  • Must possess initiative, dependability, resourcefulness.
  • Must be willing to work in a team
  • Must have the ability to learn
