The main purpose of the role is to provide proactive, professional, and efficient guest service ensuring maximum guest satisfaction in a manner consistent with Front Office standards.The main duties and responsibilities of this role are to:

• Provides a link between kitchen and service areas.
• Provides table and or counter service of all menu items.
• Provides table and or counter service of alcoholic / non-alcoholic beverages.
• Updates food and beverage knowledge required to carry out duties.
• Provides advice on food and beverage to guests.
• Receives and stores food and beverage adhering to all food hygiene regulations and procedures.
• Consistently monitors quality of food and beverage being served, and report to the supervisor or assistant outlet manager.
• To anticipate and serve guests requirements before requests is necessary.
• To be familiar with the beverage service including stemware used and appropriate garnishes.
• To complete opening and closing side work as assigned and has all tables set according to standard.
• To report any accident or guest complaint immediately, no matter how minor, to a manager.
• To recognize and address potential disruptive or undesirable guests.
• To classify buffets, displays or side stations.
• To keep service area clean and tidy.
• To provide unobtrusive and professional service in accordance with our sequence.
• To provide quick and attentive assistance to any mishap in the restaurant operation.
• To identify potential problems and ask for assistance before a breakdown occurs.
• To provide lateral service within the hotel whenever needed.
• Actively uses up-selling techniques to exceed guests? expectations and increase revenue.

About You:The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:Essential:

• Bachelor?s Degree or Higher Secondary School Certificate.
• At least 1 year of F&B service experience preferably within the international luxury hospitality industry.
• Knowledgeable in food and beverage service standards.
• Knowledgeable on how to use micros.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• The ability to multitask & work well under pressure.
• Additional language would be of advantage: Arabic, Russian, Mandarin or European language
