Description: We are looking for a skilled waiter or waitress for a restaurant to take orders and deliver food and beverages to our customers. We are looking for someone who will have the patience, personality, and perseverance to thrive in this role. If you can perform well in fast-paced environments, wed like to meet you.Responsibilities for Waiter/ Waitress. Welcome guests and greet them when entering and leaving the store.. Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies). Up-sell additional products when appropriate. Take accurate food and drink orders, using POS ordering software, order slips. Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area. Deliver checks and collect bill payments. Carry dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning. Receive phone calls from customers and provide accurate information to them.. Check and verify daily cash sales, credit card sales, and a discount against the main reading.. Present the bill to customers and accept payments by ensuring all prices, table numbers, and discounts are accurate and provide a receipt to customers. . Make the end of the day on POS and provide the support documents and daily cash sales to the chief accountant. Requirements and skillsProven work experience in the same position.Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system (e.g. Revel POS or Omega POS)Basic math skillsAttentiveness and patience with customersExcellent presentation skillsStrong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environmentActive listening and effective communication skillsTeam spiritFlexibility to work in shiftsExperience: You must have worked in the same position.Job Location: Abu DhabiLanguage: English, Arabic
