Job descriptionCharterhouse is working with a regional real estate consultancy who specialise in valuations, advisory, research and consulting services to its clients across the residential, retail, commercial and manufacturing sector. Our client is looking to hire an experienced Valuer (AssocRICS/RICS) to manage their satellite office in Abu Dhabi and be the focal point for their entire operation in the Emirate.About the roleThe Valuations Manager will lead the day-to-day operations of the Abu Dhabi office, overseeing all deliverables for its residential and commercial clients across the emirate, offering advice and consultation across a range of valuation matters. This management role will support the MEA regional leader with the management, growth and performance of the Abu Dhabi business units. Implementing and managing administrative standards in compliance with current policies and procedures.Additionally, the Valuation Manager will conduct market surveys to obtain relevant market data to determine the valuation of properties across multiple sectors, carrying out valuations using the market approach, replacement cost approach, and income capitalization approach, presenting all findings in the relevant reporting format to clients.You will build out an office, offering mentorship and training to junior staff, ensuring the highest levels of technical output are achieved.About youThe successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years? valuation experience in the UAE for a reputable Real Estate consultancy or firm and demonstrate a track-record of management or leadership. The role will require you to have essential knowledge of the Abu Dhabi residential and commercial valuations market and strong valuations methodologies. This management role will require the incumbent to work autonomously and be comfortable working independently as part of a satellite office.The ideal candidate will hold a relevant university Degree and will be registered to a professional body ? AssocRICS or RICS and ideally be residing in Abu Dhabi or be willing to work in Abu Dhabi on a full-time basis.
