Cash forecasting and monitoring cash positions - daily and periodically.
Liquidity management in line with Groups policies and procedures.
Processing daily bank reconciliation, follow-up on open items both internally and with the banks.
Placing, monitoring and tracking fixed deposits and prudent management of surplus funds.
Ensure all statutory and internal audit requirement are timely and efficiently met.
Maintain good professional relationship with the banks and negotiate best possible commercial terms and conditions.
Keep abreast of changes and trends in the financial markets and update the Management appropriately.
Look to exploit the ERP and other systems to automate and improve efficiencies.
Efficient and reliable records and documents management.
Open bank accounts, online banking facilities and borrowing facilities for the group as per requirements.
Monitor and track the borrowing facilities for commission and interest charged to the account.
Ensure all period closing activities are completed within the given deadlines.
Respond to ad-hoc queries from management.
Requirements
Bachelor?s degree in accounting and finance or equivalent higher education.
4 to 5 years of corporate treasury management and cash management experience required.
Local and regional compliance knowledge
