Key Responsibilities:Diagnose, assess, and perform surgical procedures for patients with traumatic injuries, including emergency and elective surgeries.Provide leadership and supervision to the trauma surgery team, ensuring high standards of care.Work closely with emergency department physicians, intensivists, and other specialists in trauma care.Lead trauma rounds and contribute to trauma patient management and recovery plans.Develop and implement trauma care protocols and best practices.Qualifications:Education: Medical degree (MD) with specialization in Trauma or General Surgery.Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in trauma surgery, with Tier 1 consultant status or equivalent.Certifications: Board certification in Trauma Surgery; additional certifications in advanced trauma life support (ATLS) preferred.Skills:Expertise in managing complex trauma cases and emergency surgical procedures.Strong leadership and communication skills in a multidisciplinary setting.Ability to handle high-pressure situations with sound clinical judgment.
