Lead the civil tendering department, overseeing all aspects of bid preparation and submission.Develop and implement tendering strategies to secure profitable projects.Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to gather technical and commercial data.Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications.Manage a team of tender engineers, providing guidance and mentorship.Prepare and review tender documents, including cost estimates, technical proposals, and contractual terms.Establish and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.Monitor tendering processes, ensuring timely submission and compliance.Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for tenders.Present and defend tender proposals to senior management and clients.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.12+ years of experience in civil tendering within construction companies.Proven leadership and team management skills.Strong technical knowledge of civil construction projects.Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.Proficiency in tendering software and MS Office.
