Job Description

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to be based in Dubai.You will be responsible for the sourcing, selection and onboarding of employees in the Middle East. This position will involve close collaboration with HR Business Partners, Hiring Managers, PROs, the Recruitment Team, Shared Service Teams and other key stakeholders as required, to complete the on boarding process and ensure that employees join the business in a timely manner, while ensuring they have a good quality candidate experience. A key element of this role will be to support nationalization strategies through innovative and sustainable talent attraction initiatives that align to the overall business strategy.Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment process while maintaining all compliance requirements.
  • Understand the business to effectively execute sourcing, recruitment and selection, to support business hiring needs.
  • Proactively talent pool and pipeline talent to maintain up to date talent pools and maximize the efficiency and timeliness of recruitment.
  • Continually educate hiring community of recruitment and HR processes while demonstrating the value of working within the recruitment framework allowing for maximum efficiency.
  • Implement effective and innovative talent attraction techniques including internet searches, social media, referrals, careers fairs and networking.
  • Responsible for achieving established yearly objectives and performance metrics.
  • Advise and suggest innovative solutions in regard sourcing techniques and process improvements to enhance and continuously improve the recruitment process.
  • Act in an advisory capacity to the business with respect to local market rates, hiring trends and competitor insights through face-to-face meetings, virtual calls and conference calls.
  • Actively participate in weekly recruitment meetings with business unit leads, operations and HR teams.
  • Take lead in generating awareness about the SNC-Lavalin group in the market via social media, networking and other innovative methods.
  • Manage high volume of requisitions and changing priorities.
  • Build national talent pools in collaboration with the business to support the companies nationalization strategies.
  • Take the lead on sourcing initiatives for nationals. This could include attending careers fairs (on site and virtual) with HR and Operations, university visits in collaboration with technical staff, leveraging the wider recruitment function for support.
  • Actively build, promote and manage graduate and internship programmes through a collaborative approach with universities, internal L&D teams and business unit leaders.
  • Actively participate in wider company initiatives and strategy to drive change across the business, this will include but is not limited to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (ED+I), Sustainability, Employee wellbeing, and Digital futures.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years? experience as a full 360 recruiter in the Middle East, ideally from an organization in the Engineering and Construction industry with project-oriented experience. Some internal Recruitment experience preferred, but not essential.
  • Excellent relationship management with a focus on delivering value added client experience with high attention to detail.
  • Proven ability in attracting new talent and managing candidate pipelines within the Infrastructure or Construction sectors.
  • Previous experience working within fast-paced, dynamic, direct recruit methods and hiring processes.Strong interpersonal and communication (both written and oral) skills in English ? Arabic is an asset.
  • Self-starter and able to work in a team environment or independently as required.
  • Ability to deal with competing priorities and be able to manage time appropriately.
  • A person who brings a positive and high-energy approach to getting things done with a mature approach to problem solving.
  • Knowledge of working on MS Office Software, Recruiter. Any knowledge or experience with Workday is highly desirable
  • A University degree in Human Resources or Business-related area of study is a preference.
  • Existing relationships with Saudi and UAE based Universities are a preference.
