Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Systems & POS Administrator to manage and support our retail technology infrastructure. You will ensure the smooth operation of POS systems, store-level IT equipment, and back-end integrations. This role combines hands-on technical work with operational coordination, helping drive efficiency and reliability across all retail locations.POS System AdministrationInstall, configure, and maintain POS hardware and software across all stores.Troubleshoot POS issues including connectivity, billing errors, and peripheral malfunctions.Configure menus, pricing, promotions, combos, and time-based offers.Test and deploy POS updates, patches, and upgrades.Ensure integration between POS, inventory, and accounting systems.Provide training and support to store staff on POS usage.Track and maintain POS-related assets and coordinate with vendors for procurement and maintenance.Retail IT InfrastructureAdminister store IT equipment including desktops, routers, switches, printers, and CCTV systems.Manage local and cloud-based servers for store operations and reporting.Monitor system performance, conduct backups, and manage disaster recovery protocols.Maintain network and data security, including firewalls, antivirus, and access controls.Technical Support & CoordinationAct as the first line of IT support for retail locations, both remotely and on-site.Log and track support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when needed.Maintain IT documentation, system configurations, and asset inventory.Reporting & OptimizationGenerate reports on POS usage, downtime, and performance.Identify opportunities to improve retail IT processes through automation and better integrations.Support management with sales and operational data analysis.What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).3–4 years’ experience in IT support, system administration, or POS management in a retail environment.Strong knowledge of POS systems and related hardware.Experience with networking, Windows OS, routers, switches, and desktop hardware.Familiarity with retail ERP and inventory systems (preferred).Valid UAE Driving License – Required.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills for working with non-technical staff.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
