Job Description

Development and delivery of a centre of excellence, which provides procurement and analytical expertise, including research, cost modelling, analytical support services and reporting, enabling informed, accurate and robust senior management, category management and supply chain decision-making and strategy execution. Your job responsibilities will also include:

  • Develop and implement process improvements relating to supplier performance
  • Be lead contact for any and all major supplier performance related issues
  • Conduct structured supplier performance reviews with key Farah suppliers alongside business partners
  • Work with procurement and business partners to assess business needs and contribute meaningfully to the development of procurement and category management strategies using data, reporting and analytics
  • Conduct appropriate gap analysis and develop data structures to bridge gaps between current state and business needs.
  • Interpret & analyse data structures to create meaningful Business Intelligence and Management Report Information, supported by accurate and credible background and recommendations where appropriate ? Critical to effective ongoing management of a broadening portfolio across Sourcing strategy data, budget planning, internal and supplier performance management.
  • Undertake research, cost modelling and analysis of supply markets to identify opportunities and inform sourcing strategies
  • Develop and provide suites of effective and accurate management and supply chain performance reports and dashboards
  • Apply risk management and compliance checks when researching and analysing supply markets and supplier performance to identify potential risks and trigger risk mitigation and management responses.
  • Support supplier pre-qualification and governance initiatives including audits and process adherence.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
  • Diploma / Degree in Business Studies
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Advanced skills in Excel (ideally having undertaken certified training)
  • Demonstrable understanding of and abilities in
    • Category management strategies
    • Procurement, supplier & supply chain performance reporting
  • ERP / Operating process gap analysis and improvement
  • Good working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. Oracle)
Desirable
  • MCIPS or studying toward 5+ years? experience in a similar role within a leading procurement environment.
  • Eagerness to embrace and influence change
