Job Description

This role is for Reverse Osmosis plant in UAE?Under direction, performs a variety of shipping/receiving, stocking activities; stores and distributes supplies and equipment; maintains inventory and stock records; may serve as a lead worker to other classified staff in the area; and perform related work as required.

  • Maintains district inventory for Plant supplies which includes ordering, receiving and allocating.
  • Prepare and type annual requisitions, orders, reports, correspondence.
  • Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders; processes and distributes documentation with purchase orders; reports, documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received.
  • Post daily incoming and outgoing plant stock.
  • Reports canceled and damaged items to the purchase department as appropriate.
  • Handles and documents storage and transportation of hazardous materials.
  • Identification, segregation and preservation of materials stored
  • Maintains the warehouse, records area and stores area in a neat and orderly manner.
  • Segregation of waste for proper disposal
  • Inform relevant personnel about the arrival of material and to arrange for inspection
  • Answers questions regarding procedures and resolves discrepancies regarding receipts, deliveries, warranties, repairs and surplus property.
  • Arrange to return non-conforming materials
  • Issue material as per the requirements and maintain records
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
