Job Description

StorekeeperJob Location : UAEKey Responsibilities :•Accept and inspect deliveries of food, beverages, and other essential supplies to guarantee that they match purchase orders in terms of quantity, quality, and specifications.•Verify the condition of goods upon arrival, documenting any issues or discrepancies.•Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory records through manual processes and software systems.•Monitor product stock levels and notify management when replenishment is necessary to prevent stockouts.•Implement a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) rotation of stock to minimize waste and ensure the freshness of perishable items.•Organize storage areas for easy access and efficient use of space, adhering to health and safety guidelines.•Ensure proper labeling, categorization, and storage of products to maintain hygiene and safety standards.•Follow established protocols when handling, storing, and disposing of products.•Provide assistance to kitchen and front-of-house staff in locating and retrieving supplies as needed.•Collaborate with management to guarantee that the restaurant is adequately stocked to meet operational demands.Skills And Qualifications :•Ability to assess the quality, accuracy, and consistency of deliveries and stock.•Capacity to maintain an organized and efficient storage area.•Effective communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and internal staff.•Familiarity with inventory management systems or software is beneficial.•Understanding of proper food handling and storage practices.
