The Store Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store or warehouse, ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining safety standards, supervising store staff, and providing excellent service. The role involves managing stock levels, organizing storage, and ensuring the efficient and smooth functioning of store activities.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate activities of store employees to ensure smooth operations.Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and reconcile discrepancies.Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and supplies.Organize stock storage and ensure proper labeling and shelving.Maintain accurate records of stock movements and transactions.Ensure compliance with safety, health, and hygiene standards.Assist in procurement processes and liaise with suppliers for timely deliveries.Prepare reports on stock levels, discrepancies, and store activities.Monitor store cleanliness and organization.Train and motivate staff to achieve performance targets.Address customer or internal queries related to stock or store issues.Qualifications & Skills:Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent; diploma or degree preferred.2+ years of experience in store management or inventory control.Strong supervisory and organizational skills.Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in storage and warehousing.
