Job Description

About the roleWe are looking to hire a Stakeholder Engineer for one of our major projects in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will plan, schedule, supervise, and exercise administrative authority over all engineering work and coordinate the handover process of building and infrastructure assets with relevant authorities and stakeholders, as well as provide technical guidance to support construction, operations, and handover of assets in accordance with Company procedures and industry practices.Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:

  • Work collaboratively with all project team members
  • Establishes and maintains a close working relationship with project design engineering, client representatives, and contractors.
  • Maintains project control documentation, design drawings and specifications, back charge documents, change orders, etc.
  • Frequently interfaces with stakeholders upper-level management and client personnel.
  • Provides guidance regarding the scope of work, schedules, procedures, field construction problems, and other technical information.
  • Coordinate with Authorities and Stakeholders to obtain Design NOCs and Approvals in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate audit trail for all stakeholder engagement/communications.
  • Ensure stakeholder records are kept up-to-date and reflect the latest contact and engagement activities
  • Ensure stakeholder responses and requests are communicated to technical teams, monitoring, and analyzing feedback from stakeholder engagement, ensuring all communications are logged in the stakeholder engagement database
  • Provides advice on field engineering procedures, construction methods, and financial matters to management.
  • Extract engineering information from CAD drawings. Complete a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes.
  • Provide technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and other Engineers working on the same project.
Candidate Specification
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering/Architect (or related field).
  • Relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.
  • Knowledgeable of Abu Dhabi Authorities and Stakeholders requirements.
  • Excellent writing (Arabic / English), planning, and organization skills
