Job Description

Our ClientA leading MSSP working with confidential government entities in the UAE.Your Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of cyber security analysts and oversee day-to-day operations of the SOC
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company data and systems
  • Oversee the monitoring of security events and incidents, including intrusion detection, threat hunting, and vulnerability management
  • Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures to address security incidents in a timely and effective manner
  • Lead and coordinate response to security incidents, working closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and law enforcement when necessary
  • Ensure the SOC team is properly trained and equipped to detect and respond to emerging threats
  • Develop and maintain metrics to measure the effectiveness of SOC operations and report to senior management on a regular basis
  • Collaborate with other teams within the organization, including IT, compliance, and risk management, to ensure alignment on security objectives and priorities
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices, and adjust SOC operations as needed to address emerging risks
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in cyber security, with at least 3 years in a management role overseeing a SOC or incident response team
  • Strong understanding of cyber security principles, including threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, and risk management
  • Experience with security tools and technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and tactically to address emerging security threats
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are preferred
