Key Accountabilities:Industry KnowledgeKnowledge of key product used by packaging manufacturers in SEA and ISC regions and raw material portfolios from key suppliersProcessing technologies adopted by customers in SEA and ISC regions and key project requirementsMarketing Technical Support:Continuously build knowledge, keeping up-to-date on the technical or procedural aspects of the jobAssist in identifying, proposing and pursuing options for optimization of products and achieving cost efficiencies through conducting advanced analyses and product studiesContribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of technical solutions, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvementNetwork effectively and participate pro-actively in multi-functional teamsProduct and Process Knowledge:Demonstrate understanding of processing technology, specific to flexible packaging processingParticipate in test / or obtain tests of competitor products to compare features, pricing, quality and ease of useBuilding Customer / PartnerRelationships:Support Sales function by introducing existing products to customers / partnersConduct meetings and presentations for existing and new customers/partners on products technical specifications in liaison with product ownersFurther understand customers / partners requirements while proactively responding to technical queries.Establish value chain connection and collaboration for flexible packaging film processing machines global or domestic suppliersAbout You:University degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent science / engineering degreePreferably, M.Sc. degree in Polymer Chemistry / Technology / Chemical Engineering or equivalentMinimum 5-10 years of relevant working experienceFluency in EnglishIndustry leading technical expertise in this application areaExcellent knowledge of the market in this application areaProven track record in value chain understanding and influencingYou will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position
