As a Specialty Coffee Barista, you will be the face of our café, providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality specialty coffee and beverages. You will demonstrate expertise in coffee brewing techniques, maintain cleanliness and safety standards, and create a welcoming environment for all customers.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee beverages (espresso, cappuccino, latte, pour-over, etc.) according to company standards.Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, understanding their preferences, and making personalized recommendations.Maintain knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and equipment to ensure consistent quality.Operate and maintain coffee machines and other café equipment.Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are upheld in the work area.Manage cash register transactions accurately and handle customer payments.Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or issues to management.Uphold health and safety regulations at all times.Contribute to a positive team environment and assist colleagues as needed.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role, preferably with specialty coffee knowledge.Passion for coffee and knowledge of brewing techniques.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Basic math and cash handling skills.Knowledge of health and safety standards in food and beverage service.
