Global Care Hospital is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Specialist / Consultant General Surgeon to join its multidisciplinary surgical team. The selected candidate will be responsible for diagnosing surgical conditions, performing operative procedures, and delivering comprehensive pre- and post-operative care in line with the hospital’s commitment to excellence in patient outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Perform general surgical procedures such as appendectomies, hernia repairs, cholecystectomies, and minor to complex abdominal surgeriesEvaluate patients through physical exams, diagnostic imaging, and lab testsConduct pre-operative consultations and obtain informed consentProvide post-operative care and monitor recovery progressWork collaboratively with anesthesiologists, surgical nurses, and other healthcare providersEnsure all patient documentation is completed accurately in the hospitals electronic systemParticipate in clinical audits, training, and continuous improvement programsUphold high standards of patient safety, hygiene, and surgical protocolAdhere to Global Care Hospital’s medical guidelines and ethical standardsQualifications & Experience:MBBS with a Master’s or Doctorate in General Surgery (e.g., MS, FRCS, or equivalent)Valid MOH/DHA/HAAD license or eligibility to practice in the UAESpecialist: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in general surgeryConsultant: Minimum 10 years of post-specialization surgical experienceExperience in laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures is an advantage
