Position SummaryThe Clinical placement specialist of the Health Sciences Clinical Hub supports the students placement process and assists the Strategic Partnerships Manager (SPM) in identifying, promoting, delivering and coordinating clinical placement and field training for students to fulfil the health sciences programs requirements.?RequirementsStrategic RoleFamiliarize with functional objectives relevant to scope of work.Hold discussions with direct supervisor to better understand the alignment between individual work, activities and functional goals and objectives.Operational RolePractice resilient approaches, so as to adapt and adjust to changing environments, and thereby ensure protection and restoration of the organizations resources and business continuity.Understand the clinical placement and field education requirements of health sciences programsMaintain a thorough understanding of health care and social services industry and community requirementsSupport in the development and implementation of the annual clinical placement and field education plansOrganize and facilitates students placementsIdentify clinical and field education settings requirements and provide necessary students information and documentationSupport in the development and communication of the clinical placement and field education calendarCoordinate with health sciences programs management to implement clinical placement and field education plans effectively and efficiently.Maintain accurate records of students placements during the academic year and ensure that clinical and field education placements schedules are followedCreate and maintain a reliable database with accurate and comprehensive information about industry partners, students, placements and outcomesPrepare and conduct workshops, orientations and presentations on available placementsAssess situations accurately and adopt an effective course of actionAnalyses existing data and develops a plan for improving the management of clinical placements, requirements and additional needs of studentsMaintain active network with the industry partners and communityCarry out any additional tasks assigned by the Strategic Partnerships Manager (SPM)Leadership RoleProvide on-the-job task training within scope of work.Take time to clearly respond to questions and guide team members within area of expertise.Create a positive atmosphere to encourage individuals to give their best.Contribute in an effective and efficient manner to the development of UAE Nationals.4. QualificationsMinimum of a Bachelors degree in a relevant field to the healthcare sector is requiredPreferably a Masters or a PhD in a field relevant to the healthcare sectorFull English proficiency is required. Arabic is desirable.Intermediate computer literacy is required e.g. MS Office.5. ExperienceCombined experience/training equivalent to two years of clinical placement development, and outreach?
