In addition, there?s seven exclusive Malakiya Villas, over 50 world-class restaurants and bars, a traditional souk, 3km of waterways with abras, a leading conference and banqueting center, 2km of private beach, the award-winning Talise Spa, and the Talise Fitness health club.About the JobAn excitingopportunity has arisen for the Spa Therapist to join Spa Team in Jumeirah Al Qasr and Dar Al Masyaf HotelYour main duties will include:

  • To practice Jumeirah hallmarks and guiding principles within your team and guests during your working hours
  • Perform all treatments relating to the following:
HammamMassageBody treatments
  • offered within Talise SPA, this includes treatments in the SPA treatment menu, new treatments, indoor and outdoor SPA treatments, group events according to standards with attention to detail and in a prompt, positive and timely manner.
  • Promote all spa products to every guest and offer full product knowledge.
  • To ensure you have relevant and sufficient stock to perform your treatments
  • Ensure all treatment rooms are fully set up as per SPA SOP before beginning any treatment.
  • Advise guests of spa service programs, treatments, and products available at the spa.
  • Assist in keeping accurate written consultation records of treatments and products used in view of repeat guests.
  • Any guest related matters, products or equipment needs, technical service requests, assist with immediate action.
  • Retail recommendation cards must be provided to every guest and a note placed on the guest history of products purchased/recommended
  • Assist with checking all spa facilities are in working order, if you notice an issue to report immediately to a supervisor/manager
About you:The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
  • High School graduate
  • 2 years service experience in a 5-star spa
  • Completed state required therapy anatomy and physiology course or internationally recognized therapy qualification
  • Ability to communicate fluently in the primary language of the workplace both verbally and nonverbally
  • Minimum of two years experience in performing therapy services
  • CIBTAC, ITEC, CIDESCO certificate is advantage
