Job Description

Role: Sharia Audit Data & MIS SpecialistLocation: ISAG - ADIB Head Office Role Purpose:Provide support to ISAG through coordination with IT for managing MIS requirements to improve process workflow, information management.Key Accountabilities of the role:

  • Engage with IT to pull MIS reports required by Shari?a Auditors at the planning stage
  • Ensure that data containing such MIS report are extracted from the System without any modification and such data are accurate.
  • Understand the different Systems (Phoenix, FINONE etc.) to be able to extract the relevant data and reports directly from the system.
  • Provide training to internal Shari?a audit staff related to effective utilization of different systems (Phoenix, FINONE etc.).
  • Perform different periodic analysis to prepare Dashboards for better decision making.
  • In coordination with ITD, assist ISAG in Development of MIS reports based on known parameter to identify exceptions.
  • Engage and coordinate with External vendor for implementations of Shari?a audit software/system
  • Perform formatting tasks of the Internal Shari?a Audit reports as and when required.
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge, Technical Competencies Required for this role:
  • Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
  • Hands-on experience MIS analysis
  • Familiarity with Core Banking Systems
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets like (Excel)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to engage across organization levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Required Education:
  • B.Sc. in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or any other relevant field
Required Experience:
  • This position is for UAE Nationals only.
  • Minimum 5 Years of relevant MIS Experience /core banking system in Banks/FIs.
