As a QC Inspector you will be responsible to monitor manufacturing operations and ensure products and services are meeting the quality assurance program, customer requirements, engineering specifications and appropriate industry/regulatory standards. · Verifying and inspecting raw materials, finished products, welding processes, weld qualifications as per drawing, Engineering Bill Of Materials (BOM) and customers requirements and industry standards. · Controlling identification and traceability mark of product during all stages of production and record. · Identifying label and generate quality report as well as nonconformance report for all defective materials. · Interfacing and coordinating with customers representative for material require TPI hold point inspection. · Performing NDT inspection for product and services done at source, ensure suppliers are perform as per engineering specifications and comply with quality assurance procedure. · Participating in HSE program and proactively involve in improving HSE culture in site. · Performing other quality related activities assigned by Quality control supervisor.Work ExperienceFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will: · Have Diploma or Bachelor Degree (Mechanical Engineering) with 3 to 5 years hands-on experience in engineering industries essentially in quality inspection. · Have good knowledge of ASME, API 6A, API 17D & API16A. · Have solid Quality background in quality assurance tools (auditing, ISO, maturity models, statistical sampling). · Have ability to review the mill certificate & perform the visual inspection. · Show a working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolelrancing (GDT) and the ability to perform Dimensional inspections · have ability to review the mill certificate & perform the visual inspection. · Be certified welding inspector, will be an advantage. *Please remember that joining the Talent Community is not an application for any specific job at Baker Hughes but to have the privilege of being considered for an opportunity that suits your profile on priority.TranscriptHello everyone.
