In this role you will Complete a wide variety of difficult engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses within one discipline. You will apply advanced engineering techniques and analyses which may involve CAE (computer aided engineering)/CAD (computer aided design) applications. Willingness to travel or relocate to supplier, client, or construction site locations is expected.ResponsibilitiesPerforms complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.Extracts engineering information from CAD drawings. Prepares engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes.Frequently interfaces with other Engineering disciplines as well as other departments.Prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.Reviews supplier drawing submittals and performs technical bid analyses.Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.Provides technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower level EnginPerforms various engineering and design assignments requiring the application of advanced principles and fundamental theories studied in a four-year university engineering program, and available data in the civil engineering field.Can independently prepare and supervise the preparation of fundamental engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs. Able to prepare the detailed requisitions for material purchase, services, and subcontracts.Can undertake independent reviews of supplier drawing submittals and technical bid analyses. Supervise in the preparation and issuance of specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.Provides input to CAD Designer/Drafters working on the same project. The engineer will be required to carry out CAD related tasks while using special 3D software and model creation.Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.The engineer shall be able to independently carry out designs of collection, conveyance, and disposal of wastewater networks. The engineer shall have advance experience and knowledge of preparing and developing hydraulic models for gravity network, design reports and Bentley SewerCAD / SewerGems, InfoSWMM and Infoworks CS.Shall be familiar with load demand calculations for large private developments and/ or large government projects. Shall be conversant with Water / Irrigation / Firefighting Authority regulations such as DEWA, ADDC/ ADWEA, DM, ADM, DCD, ADCD and other relevant authorities within gulf region.Working knowledge of planning, designing and construction of centralized and decentralized wastewater systems, including: primary secondary and tertiary wastewater treatment, passive and active systems, sewerage, pumping systems, sludge and effluent management, etc.,Qualifications4-year degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering) and masters degree in water related discipline with about 08 to 12 years of related work experience.
