Senior VideographerAbu Dhabi University is seeking Videographer/Video Editor who can demonstrate a passion for visual production, creative thinking and storytelling. The position will be working collaboratively with members of the team to create compelling, high-quality videos that will be used across ADU?s digital and social media platforms.VideographyCovers University Events, exhibitions, conferences, info sessions, school visits, open days and school tours & etc .. to produce high quality videos.Understanding the videography and keeping up to date with industry trends, developments and new techniques.Conceptualize, produce and deliver high-quality, creative and visually engaging video content that supports Abu Dhabi University brand and the overall communication objectives.Manage all stages of video production, including project conception, filming, capturing professional quality audio, editing, distribution and archiving.Set up, manage and operate various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, and microphones for location and studio production.Ability to edit and enhance videos using current industry software for optimum results for web, and other mediums in a timely manner.Operates and maintains proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment.Experience using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Audition and relevant software?s. (FCP and Grading is plus).Operates DLSR video cameras, on location or in the university.Designs, transports, sets up, and operates production equipment, including audio and lighting equipment on campuses and on different sites.Computer edits video segments on a variety of digital formats/lengths and platforms such as university social media and stock footage as required.Minimum Educational Qualifications Required for the Role: A Bachelors degree Graduate in Film Studies, Mass Communication or related fieldMinimum Years of Experience Required: 5 years in a similar role.Nature of Relevant Experience Required: Hands on experience in video framing technology lighting and editing. Proficient IT skills, Cultural awareness, Camera equipment experience, DSLR/Mirrorless camera experience and communication. Excellent interpersonal skills. Relative fitness and stamina to work long hours.Language Skills:Excellent written and verbal English & Arabic communication skills.Special Skills and Abilities: In-depth knowledge of Adobe Premier Pro, in MAC software (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Acrobat is plus) and a good knowledge in video editing, team player, Communication, Interpersonal, Flexibility, creativity and Problem-Solving Skills.
