Job PurposeJoin our innovative Automation team within the DevSecOps department as an Automation Engineer, driving automation practices across various domains, including private and public cloud, database, integration, cybersecurity, and observability.As an Automation Engineer, you will design and implement enterprise-level automation solutions, leveraging infrastructure as code, containerization, and configuration management. Your role is critical in ensuring robust automation practices throughout the technology solution lifecycle.What Youll Be Expected To Do:. Automation: Embrace automation principles to advise and architect solutions with engineering and product teams, ensuring robust adherence to automation standards.. Cloud Native Adoption: Collaborate with Architects and Engineers to strategize well-defined automation and Cloud engineering architectures, taking the lead in the discovery phase of Cloud adoption/migration.. Collaboration and Change Management: Collaborate with Release Engineering, Product Development, and Security teams to develop change management strategies, enabling seamless deployments and continuous delivery.. Continuous Integration and Delivery: Leverage the CI/CD platform to enable the automation of everything possible and take charge of the technical design and high-quality coding for technology solutions, emphasizing built-in quality and production deployment readiness.. Technical Advisory: Be an advisor, enabling teams to drive corrective, adaptive, preventative, and perfective maintenance of solutions, automating environment management, service management, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity aspects of the systems.. Site Reliability: Apply site reliability principles to ensure availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning, acting as a bridge between development and operations.Qualifications & ExperienceTo be considered for this role, you must meet the below:Qualifications/ Experience:. Degree or Honours in Computer Science or related filed.. 5+ years of experience in Automation/DevOps/Platform Engineering.. Experience with automation and CI/CD implementation for microservices architecture using enterprise platforms. Experience with Linux and Windows management tools such as automated provisioning, containerization, orchestration and virtualization.. Experience with infrastructure configuration and automation processes and tools.. Extensive experience in architecture and support best practices in a hybrid cloud environment.. Exceptional knowledge in systems monitoring, alerting, and analytics.Ideal Candidates must have broad understanding and expertise in one or more of these areas:CI/CD: Gitlab, GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, AWS DevOps, GIT, Spinnaker.Container/Orchestration: Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes.Infrastructure As Code: Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation.Configuration Management: Ansible, Puppet, Chef.Scripting: Golang, Shell (Bash), Powershell, Groovy, Python.System Administration: Linux (RedHat, CentOS), Windows, VMware (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, NSX, vRealize).Networking: DNS, Routing, SSL/TLS, SSH, TCP/IP, Subnetting, Proxy servers, Nginx, CDN/Cache Servers, Load Balancers, Firewall.IT Services Framework: ServiceNow - knowledge/exposure to Change management, Incident management, Problem management, Knowledge management, Configuration Management, Release Management, ITIL Framework, and Scaled Agile Framework.Recommended (Will be Valued if Available):.
