Job Description

Position SummaryTo play a key role in supporting the implementation of the division strategic goals and objectives related to consistency of laboratory equipment system-wide and their renewal and maintenance contracts, and liaison with facilities and EHS specialists at the campuses. To maintain close supervisory relationship with Laboratory Instructors, Teaching and Laboratory Assistants to continuously improve the program learning resources. To ensure equity of division/program teaching resources across all campuses. To work closely with the Academic Program leadership, System Course Team Leaders, and Laboratory Instructors to identify, budget and acquire common teaching and learning resources in terms of the lab equipment, software, handbooks, digital learning objects and arrange for PDs and assess the utilization of the teaching resources across the system.Support in cascading the overall functional strategy into operational goals.Facilitate the achievement of strategic objectives by allocating resources and focusing the efforts of the team.Continuously improve the divisional knowledge management system for learning resources.Support the implementation of the DivisionĂs strategic goals and objectives related to Applied Research and continuous improvement of the divisional learning resources.Conduct an audit of the learning resources available to the students and the Faculty across all campuses that are offering the programs.Manage all procurement and finance-related processes for the division.Support System-wide Course Team Leaders in digital content development.Work in coordination with Program Academic leadership, System-wide Course Team Leaders, Deans of Academic Operations, and Executive Deans to draw up and execute a plan to ensure equity of high-quality learning resources for all students and programs offered under the Division.Ensure safe and complete delivery of Equipment/software/etc. as per POs.Ă‚ Requirements

  • Minimum of BachelorĂs degree in a relevant field is required with significant relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • 3 years of industry experience is preferred.
  • Advanced understanding in the area of technology and applications.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
  • Advanced report writing skills
  • Basic understanding of financial and procurement systems as applied to resource management
  • Working knowledge of Arabic desirable.
  • Intermediate computer literacy is required e.g. MS Office, etc.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and up to date knowledge of services available within the Division and related areas of specialization. Excellent academic focus and utilizing and support educational technology
