Aside from its own internal programmes, Emirates has also invested into a number of innovation programmes such as the Aviation X-Lab in partnership with GE, Airbus, Thales, and Collins Aerospace; and Intelak in partnership with Accenture, Microsoft and Dubai Tourism A Senior Quality Assurance Engineer(SQA), supports the Principal Quality Assurance Engineer, by executing the designed test strategy for their product area. Their primary focus is to provide technical support to develop and maintain automation frameworks and deisgn testing harnesses. The SQA Engineer will be technically skilled in software engineering and testing practices and be experienced in critical systems thinking. The role executes supports in co-ordinating end to end (E2E) tests in a variety of delivery models, from waterfall to multiple sprint teams in support of the portfolio release trains. The job holder needs to maintain an excellent collaboration and communication which enables them to coordinate and execute day to day activities and support automation frameworks used across multiple feature teams. With the ability to communicate with technical colleagues and business colleagues, they are able to collaborate with architects and formulate testing platforms to help feature teams. They are a big believer in collaboration in order to coordinate and drive scalable quality solutions making you critical to enabling faster delivery with demonstrable business outcomes. Job Outline: - Working closely with project members, architects and software engineers to understand the technical landscape and the context of deliveries to translate complex functional and non-functional requirements. - Work closely with product owners to provide early feedback on any foreseen risks in the product requirements and design - Ensure test strategies and downstream tests are in-line with the core problem business wants to solve - Working with the Quality Engineering Core team ensure non production environments and test data is available to support the complete set of testing activities across feature teams in the release train. - Liase with other release train teams to manage the testing of cross dependencies. - Ensure Test Tools are configured correctly and accurately to support the collection of metrics for program and enterprise wide dashboards. - Support and guide Software Engineers to write and maintain automated functional tests through continuous integration. - Implement, maintain and adapt automation frameworks, and Test harnesses to make end to end tests robust. - Carry out POCs to facilitate and maintain test data for all here - Faciliatate in seting up Quality Gate requirements and support the teams.
