Job Description

Job summaryAmazon?s International Technology team is looking for experienced Senior Product Management Technical for our XFN Tech team as we target global expansion. You will work closely with senior business leaders to create a vision and define the product strategy and roadmap.You will work with a dedicated engineering team to drive inventory sharing for multiple Regions. The successful candidate will prioritize initiatives that solve endemic customer-facing problems, bring clarity to complex problems, bring fresh/innovative thinking, take calculated risks, and make the case for investment/divestment decisions to maximise ROI.This role is highly visible ? it has a broad scope, and has a high impact on Amazon?s strategic 3Y plans in a multi-billion dollar area of our business. Proven experience in developing and managing a major product (or suite of products) is essential. You must have experience in preparing documentation for senior executives and have proven experience in working with engineering teams to develop product a roadmap to deliver strategic objectives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a necessity.Key job responsibilitiesThe primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Define the product strategy and vision to meet emerging customer needs and converge technology solutions
  • Set product definitions and define roadmaps including a measurable success criteria to launch them at an Amazon scale
  • Prioritise the launch of product features in order to drive maximum customer impact
  • Work with engineering teams, and drive alignment, to execute on your vision
  • Own engagement for your portfolio of products, work directly with a range of cross-functional teams including senior business executives, engineering managers/engineers, and designers
A day in the life
  • You will engage with key stakeholders to understand use cases, and business goals
  • You will prioritize features on the tech roadmap, define features, requirements and measure implementation results
  • You will work with engineering teams to deep-dive technical issues and build new solutions that accelerate the flywheel for new and emerging countries
  • With the BI team, you will define new, insightful product metrics
About the teamOur European Fulfilment Network (EFN) Tech team is transitioning to a WW team (known as XFN Tech). As part of this transition, we are looking for PMTs who can partner with Regional business and central tech teams to improve eligibility and accelerate growth for new and mature Stores.
  • Proven success in directing the discovery, ideation and launch of enterprise scale technical products.
  • Track record shaping business strategy for technical products or services
  • Ability to communicate and influence at an executive level.
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills
  • Experience leading and growing teams
  • Bachelor?s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or Computer Science
  • MBA/Master?s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or Computer Science
  • Experience in customer Pricing
  • Familiarity with data science, and experience in non-technical aspects including business analysis (e.g. SQL) and process optimization
  • Experience in working at senior levels (VP, SVP, C-level)
